I make things in many forms. Some you can hang on a wall. Some you can step inside. Some you can read with a cup of coffee. Others only really exist when people gather together.

If you’re someone who prefers a little guiding light rather than complete anarchy, here are a few doorways:

about.

about.

Hello. I’m Kendall. Artist, anthropologist, mother, daughter, friend, collaborator, question-asker and professional overthinker. A woman stumbling and soaring her way through life, I make multidisciplinary work about the strange, messy, beautiful business of being human. Mostly, I’m interested in what happens when people gather honestly and open-heartedly. And what art can make possible when they do.

We gather, create and tell stories on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation.

I pay deep respect to Elders past and present, and to the storytellers, makers, singers, knowledge keepers and community builders who have gathered here for tens of thousands of years.
